A Peek Into Puglia!
I’m recently home from an incredible three-week journey through Puglia, Italy, and I can’t even begin to tell you how deeply I fell in love with this beautiful region. From charming whitewashed villages and stunning coastlines to bustling markets, amazing food, and unforgettable friendships, Puglia truly captured my heart.
Come along as I share some of my favorite memories from this special retreat through the photos below. Each image tells a story of adventure, creativity, laughter, and the wonderful women who joined me on this unforgettable experience.

One of the most precious guests of all was Wendy.
Wendy's mom was a longtime hair client of mine, and so was Wendy. Over the years, her mom became much more than a client—she was like a mother to me. She was a beautiful part of my life for many years, and I loved her dearly.
Wendy joined this retreat in honor of her mother, and to say it was emotional would be an understatement. We cried... a lot. We shared stories, laughed through tears, and spent hours talking about old memories and the wonderful woman we both loved so much.
One of the most touching moments was when Wendy gifted me one of her mother's treasured turquoise rings, a piece she cherished deeply. She also brought me an apron her mother wore. Those gifts mean more to me than words could ever express.
Did I mention we cried a lot?
There were so many special moments throughout the retreat, too many to count, but sharing this time with Wendy and remembering her mother together is something I will carry in my heart forever.
Some friendships, some memories, and some people leave an imprint on your soul. This was one of those moments.

Since 2008, Lisa has been joining me on retreats, and over the years we've shared countless adventures, laughs, stories, and memories together. She is one of those rare people who is simply easy to love. Kind, genuine, thoughtful, talented, and always bringing joy wherever she goes.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this woman. She has enriched my life in more ways than she will ever know. Through all these years, she has been a constant source of friendship, encouragement, and grace.
The truth is, Lisa is everything I want to be when I grow up.
I am so grateful that a chance meeting in a classroom all those years ago turned into one of the greatest friendships of my life
