Dream Girls Weekend

So the planning began several months ago.
Lots of behind the scenes creative thinking, the PRESSURE was on, we knew all these girls would arrive with camera in hand!! LOL.....
Tiffany had asked me to come teach a workshop in her home & town, I was honored to say the least.. Tiffany is the most honest open hearted women I have ever met...
The day she sent the invites out to attend, the class was FULL! How amazing is that..
The pictures tell the story..
Tiffany left it up to me what to teach, and so I chose a little Easter project.. Adding learning to solder to the mix with collage, most the class had already tryed there hand at the addicting art.
They were all given this fabulous folder that JOY made here on SECRET assignment!
Their folders were made from vintage wallpapers , vintage papers and ribbons,and personally tagged with there names and event, it was also full of fun embelishments, gifts and candy..
The weekend started with an evening dinner party at Tiffany's home , and let me say the HOME was beyond eye candy, you just couldn't take it all in, I walked around with my camera in hand and realizing I wasn't taking many photos as I was so in aw just looking at everything. We were all welcomed with Chocolate martinis and the best appetizers!
It was a Birthday party for Isabelle and Tammy which made the opening night even more festive!
Tiffany had a friend who also caters do the food, over the top YUM!..
As the evening slowed down, most the girls went to the "Yella Beak Saloon", which what happens at the Beak stays at the Beak if you know what I mean.. hahaha
Breakfast was amazing bakery treats, and then up to the studio Donna and I went to set up.. The project was all top secret, no one knew what they were there to create.... In this group were 4 professional photographers, and let me tell you how hard it is to DUCK and HIDE from 15 women all with camera in HAND! ughhh me and cameras don't see eye to eye!! LOL...
I will let the photos tell the rest of the story, it was an amazing heart felt day,lots of laugher , talent and some shed tears, Tiffany opened the art day with a speech from her heart and let me tell you, there wasn't a dry eye in the room!.. We all had some fun photo opps that I cannot wait to see! so many cameras flashing!! ACk..

Kris from Todays Country store was kind enough to take me to the store to shop after hours! I didnt buy a thing hee hee ( in case hubby reads this ! ) I just LOVE that store full antiques..

I am so blessed to have crossed paths with Tiffany,and I think every lady there felt the same..

They flew in from Canada to California

The weekend started with women flying in from Oregon, California, Canada, Arizona,and the locals from Washington..
We had a surprise dinner party planned for Julie , Sheila and Shelly for there Birthdays!!! It was a kick off dinner for the lovely Julie Haymaker coming to teach her fabulous classes..

These are the setting of the evening dinner party.. The two famous Beach Camp ladies, Julie and Lori did all the evening cooking and it was divine ...

The evening was beautiful, a lovely sunset dinner that could not have been better...who could imagine the classroom could look like this!!

More of the appetizer trays, on the vintage 1800's bar, with these gorgeous roses Lori brought THANKS YOU LORI... is it making you wish you were here ! it was a special invited group of women , ladies from art camp and class were the lucky few, all 16 were very surprised ..






This is early in the day as Dotti preps the room making sure everything is set and ready for the evening about to happen & take on the magical evening the day was a buzzinggg.....

This is Julie Helping Lisa Holtzman who flew in from California, she was adorable and oozed with talents, she is a calligrapher and her writing was breath taking , as we all watched...

We also had a wonderful lady who came from Canada, her name is Violette, an artist herself , her work was amazing, please go peek at her site, she also teaches online workshops..

It was a fabulous weekend, Julie's teaching is so beautiful, she loves it, and it shows... Everyone left with there pieces finished and were so proud..

I am planning Julie back here soon, I need to cross reference her schedule and will know what days work.. She teaches so many different mediums and venues..

Thanks Julie we LOVE you here in the NW, and special thanks to Julie H and Lori S ,our wonderful ladies who came and cooked and spoiled us the whole evening.... and Thanks to DOTTI my new best friend whom I met in Portland at a workshop that wasn't a good day for many , Dotti, turns a bad experience into a new found friendship... You never know where you meet another fabulous friend, take a workshop and try it, there is something that happens..... Workshops do that special something in the setting and atmosphere of women coming together and getting pampered and YOU deserve it...

Julie Haymaker in the HOUSE!!

I'm so Excited to finally have Julie Haymaker here this weekend to teach her magic!..

she will be teaching 2 days of fabulous classes,day 1 is sold out, and I think day 2 has 1 or 2 openings, you should come join the fun..

Friday night will start with a fun Dinner party here for a house full of women, Julie and Lori the Art camp cooks are coming to cook us all a yummy dinner and desserts and wine !..

If you have Sunday off and want to come learn new Art techniques please come join us for the day, Julie says we have enough in our kits to make 2 great projects!! Its always a good time, and the day includes a GREAT lunch..

The the following week I am off to Teach at a SUPER fun EVENT! Tiffany Kirchner is hosting a D R E A M G I R L S weekend event ladies are flying in from several states to attend!! and I am lucky enough to get to go teach this group of ladies!

I will be back with pictures of all this exciting stuff!!..

Time for Family

Spending some much need time away with family.. We are in Bend Oregon one of my favorite family vacation stops.. part of us went Skiing today and the other part went hiking.. Laci, Frank and me and ozzy took the hike to Smith Rock, it was so sunny and gorgeous today, Ozzy is on his first family vacation and loving LIFE!.. Our home is on the river with swans and ducks waiting to be fed!.. The picture below is people rock climbing , it was fun to just sit and watch them in the middle of this HUGE rock.. Took a few Pictures along the hike.. will be back tomorrow to share the home !! its amazing.. hot tubing on the river is just clue ..

Ozzy on our dock just wanting to JUMP in and catch a duck!! LOL.. they are funny birds, they snap at him and hiss! LOL.. not afraid at all.
