S M I L E Girls! lots of photos being taken on this trip!
I was so excited to finally Meet Kim Caldwell, she attended a workshop with some of her wonderful artist friends!... Here she is sneaking away to shop the Mermaid Mercantile show, pictured below is , Cindy Dockins of Queen of Tarte, Kim Caldwell of Artist bliss, Debbie Hodge of breathing beside us, and Joy Bayer of Auntie Joy....
Well after 2 weeks traveling, I made it home safely with lots of stories to tell, I sure Miss my traveling companions!.. I left for a road trip to San Diego, first stop was Salem to pick up , Cindy of Queen of Tarte and Joy of Auntie Joy, we had the best trip , traveling and talking, I don't think we stopped talking for the first 14 hours of driving , and the trip seemed to go so fast, once we crossed into the CA border, I had special bracelets made for Cindy and Joy!...
We were so busy from the second we arrived in San Diego... preparing for my workshops was first on the agenda!.. I was so Honored to have so many women flying in from all over the US to attend my workshops, the lovely Kadee Metzger came in from Illinois , she was such a doll to meet and work with! she attended all 3 days! :)
I always Love my special friend Julie Haymaker Thompson, she came in from New Mexico to attend all 3 days! her work simply amazes me!... if you get a chance make sure and attend one of her art workshops, she also travels all over to teach and Loves what she does and it shows .. This picture below is her work in class....
also a very Special GUEST! Beth Livesay Editor of Jewelry Affair magazine, came and attended the beginners class, she was adorable and a little scared to use the HOT soldering iron! she did amazing work..

This is Debbie Hodge, an amazing talented artist, she makes some fabulous clothing and linen bags, I am proud to say i own several of her pieces!.. I was so excited to have her in class, and she also took a Private class at my brothers home which was way too much Fun!..This is Deb and Beth below..

Here is a picture of my brothers back yard , its a tropical oasis! wow it really takes your breath away!... we all spent some time out here talking and enjoying the views.. at night there were nice little firs going by the pool, with some bottle of wine of course!..

O.k here is the fabulous four!.. Dotti of course with her Best buds! these gals all sure adore each other, if they are in a room, you know it, lots of laughter goes on!... always good to see them all.. Dotti took all 3 days of class, she also was the hostess with the mostess! WOW.. she cooked some fabulous desserts, we joined her and Julie Haymaker several nights for dinner and fun! Julie cooked us a fabulous Dinner the last day of classes, we all had the best time, we all laughed so hard all night ! good times for sure..

my sweetest friend , Jane,shes a dream, so soft spoken , so talented, I LOVE it when she comes to the workshops! I also got to see her in Phoenix classes as well!.. you cannot help but smile when around her, shes so genuine and adorable.. below is a picture of her , Debbie Hodge and my traveling partner Joy!..

There is so much more to tell......... and some VERY exciting news to be released VERY soon, I will give a little hint, it has to do with, me Cindy and a Barn..... that's all for now but stay tuned, I need to go unpack....

It was incredible to finally take a class with you Terri! Can't wait until you come to Los Angeles again. I think I read on Deb's blog ~ October? You are the queen of soldering! I am going to get a gun and practice!! Love, Love. . .
Welcome back home.....and to some sunshine finally! You must have brought it back with you from San Diego! Looks like you girls had way too much fun!
I can't wait to have some girl time fun in the fall - I am so ready for it RIGHT NOW! I still have ALL of the pups and had to go out and invest in a gated corral thingy for the house - so much better than chasing them with a mop!
