Soon I will be headed on a long needed vacation, well

kinda a vacation, teaching workshops along the path..

First stop in San Francisco!

Some GOOD friends are coming with us for a few days of big city FUN, we rented a house on VRBO.com

so i will let you know how all that turns out!

Next Stop Napa Valley, for some wine tours, and of course some shopping and R&R....but Im thinking this leg of the trip wont be much R&R as the friends we are meeting there are TOO FUN and WILD!.. oh NO.. Did i mention I was taking this trip to rest! LOL..

Next stop is Phoenix! spending a few days with my husbands cousins and doing some sight seeing!..maybe some R&R I hope..

Then off to San Diego, to visit my brother, See my son who has now been there 3 weeks!

I will get to visit with some old friends while there, and teach at this super COOL workshop in a fabulous Penthouse over looking Balboa park!..

Then i get back home and hit the road running, a workshop here, then one in Seattle and and and and the list goes on....

THEN the good news....... the BEACH ART RETREAT in Manzanitta with 20 amazing women coming from , CA, OR, WA, and Montana!

we have 3 days of workshops & 5 nights,

in a home in Manzaneta Oregon,

we have an in house chef cooking all our meals with

so many fun things planned..

then ......sigh a folk at show in Chehalis Oct 2nd at Smiths Merchantile Friday from 6-9 pm.. ...

then back to life but seems to keep running..

I hope to slow down a bit in 2010 .

Where on earth did the summer go!

How could it be heading onto FALL, FOOTBALL and SCHOOL!..

It seems so odd to have no kids in high school, no football games !

Its been such a busy August, I have been making jewls and papier mache like crazy, DID i say crazy, well thats life lately forsure... so many fun things coming up so fast..

im leaving on a much need R&R vacation with the hubby..

we will first stop In San Francisco and Napa for some wine and dine!!

then off to Arizona, to visit the gals at Melrose Vintage, and some of the Hubbys relatives!.. so looking forward to that stop..

The last stop is San Diego, with workshops there to teach, some private classes and some fun with my brother, whom is so sad his little doggie past away yesterday! long story and it makes me cry so we wont tell it here! but poor Oscar R.I.P in doggie heavens..

the GOOD NEWS I get to see my SON! I miss him so much! I cannot even open the door to his bedroom, its too hard to see it empty and no nasty smell of football gear !HAHA..

when I get home, I have to hit the floor running, I have a class in Seattle as these Microsoft gals keep having workshops and I LOVE IT! they are so fun and I get to go to the most amazing places... WOW..

Then I am in a show here in town at Smiths Merchantile, with Renee valentine, and Ilona Steelhammer, all fabulous papier mache artists! thats Oct 2nd, 6-9 pm, the all day Saturday .. so mark your calendar now...

Then the BIG news is the Beach Art retreat in Manzaneta Oregon, its SOLD OUT to 18 wonderful women coming from, WA, OR, MT, and CA .. We rented the most fabulous HUGE home right on the beach! will we have fun hmmmmm MAYBE!..

I will be MIA for a while so see you all later in the month!..
